Loving Flowers Mindfulness (LLM) directors practice mindfulness with Thanh Thoi Sangha. Therefore, two LLM directors and Thanh Thoi Sangha members organize the mindfulness retreat every year. Plum Village monastics come to Seattle to offer teachings on engaged Buddhism and the art of mindful living, founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. The retreat is for Vietnamese or English Speaking.

The retreat usually is held at Fort Flagler State Park about 1.5 hour drive from Seattle. The park rests on a beautiful beach overlooking Puget Sound, with spectacular views of Olympic Peninsula and Cascade mountains. A popular place for the attendees to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of old growth trees, beach, abundant wildlife and a variety of activities including walking meditation, and outdoor sports.
